Chuck Spear is the owner and J105 fleet regatta driver of Twelve Bar Blues.
Marc Dorfman handles the foredeck of Twelve Bar Blues. In his fourth year of competitive racing, Marc has proven to be fearless. tireless and timely, three highly valued traits. In 2003, Marc expanded his racing repetoire, demonstrating considerable skill at the helm.
Laura Corbit trims the jib and spinnaker on Twelve Bar Blues during J105 fleet regattas and shares driving responsibilities in other events. Dr. Corbit is a proven competitor in a number of racing fleets, including Santana 20 and Laser.
Patti Hulsey has extensive racing experience. Before coming to California from Florida, she campaigned a Melges 24 in the southeast, and participated in seven Key West Race Weeks, the last aboard a J105. Patti either trims the jib and the spinnaker or handles the pit on Twelve Bar Blues.
Mike Wing was new to competitive sailing in 2002 aboard Twelve Bar Blues. He assists on foredeck and substitutes in the pit when Chuck Spear is driving the boat.
Bill Powell has more experience aboard Twelve Bar Blues than any other crew member other than Chuck Spear. Bill was a part of the Twelve Bar Blues crew when it finished first in Class A in the 1999 Berger Series and,in 2001, with Chuck Spear, won the Pacific Singlehanded Sailing Association's Dave Wall Series.
Craig Steele is a very active Marina del Rey sailor, campaigning his own Star and racing aboard his father's J35 Fast Lane. Craig handles a variety of positions aboard Twelve Bar Blues.
Howard Chesley is a late 2003 addition to the crew and he calls tactics and trims the main. He has raced boats, including his own J24 Schwing Time for many years.
Chris Eid is a veteran sailor most recently competing in the Marina del Rey Star Fleet. He handles the pit on Twelve Bar Blues.
